Britney Spears has come out with a new statement: "I wouldn't trust anyone to look after my child, and if that means the end of my career, then so be it."

The man who was brought to court for stalking Avril Lavigne has been sentenced to 30 days in prison as well as a possible $500 dollar fine.

Lindsay and her "friends"
A close friend of Lindsay Lohan was caught stealing from her when they were hanging out. Lindsay has now started to mark her money due to her loss of trust brought about by her friends' treachery.
Another friend of Lindsay has also been selling secret conversations between them to the newspapers. She has now broken a number of friendships due to her friends "selling her out".

Art's Costume Institute gala
Everything seems to be going down at the Art's Costume Institute gala held at the Metropolitan Museum in New York City.
Firstly Katie Holmes dropped out of attending to keep the heat of her new relationship with Tom Cruise.
Secondly, Jessica Simpson turned up but without her husband Nick Lachey sparking more rumours from the tabloids.
Finally, Mary-Kate Olsen was apparently caught smoking in the toilets despite it being banned.

Holmes, Cruise officially engaged
It was pretty obvious from the article "The Road to Katie Cruise" but we thought we might as well have an official news story about it too.
Tom Cruise proposed to Katie Holmes while they were at the Eiffel Tower, she of course accepted.
Jennifer Garner wedding rumours
Rumours have been circulating around that Jennifer Garner and Bed Affleck wed in secret over the weekend.
The bottom line from what we have heard is that they are not true. Jen's publicist told Entertainment Tonight that the story of Jen buying flowers was completely fictional.

Lohan says no nude scenes
Lindsay Lohan has said that she will never do nude scenes as she doesn't think it is needed to win an Oscar.
She told Access Hollywood that she would not do nude scenes as "then there's no mystery for my private life."

Although there are two important points here. A) she could have been joking and B) we don't have confirmation that Female First is the source (we couldn't find the actual story).
